SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM, ESTRADASPHERE Members To Take Part In Special NYC Shows

SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM members Matthias Bossi, Michael Mellender and Carla Kihlstedt and ESTRADASPHERE members Timb Harris and Jason Schimmel will take part in a special series of live shows at New York City's venue The Stone in July that will also include appearances from John Zorn and SECRET CHIEFS 3.

The Stone, a not-for-profit experimental/avant-garde music performance space located at the corner of Avenue C and 2nd St. in New York City will showcase the following shows in July:

July 01 - Matthias Bossi, Michael Mellender, Timb Harris, Carla Kihlstedt (8pm)

July 05 - Adrienne the Anemone, Timb Harris (8pm)

July 11 - Improv Night: John Zorn + Secret Chiefs 3
July 14 - Carla Kihlstedt, Satoko Fujii
July 15 - Secret Chiefs 3
July 22 - John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Sylvie Courvoisier, Makigami Koichi, Chuck Bettis, etc.
July 29 - Ocrilim
July 31 - Makigami Koichi, Ikue Mori, Sylvie Courvoisier

SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM released its debut album, "In Glorious Times", last month via The End Records. The band is currently wrapping up an extensive month long tour of North America.

ESTRADASPHERE's debut album for The End Records, titled "Palace of Mirrors", surfaced in September of 2006. The band is currently working on a live DVD.
